Let's talk Marvel fashion

Post by Anna Raven » 01 Jun 2022, 22:09

So as a member of Marvel Insider they will occasionally send me pins and such, but I usually just pop them on my backpacks. I was thinking if I had a really cool Marvel jacket or hoodie I might actually put them on that.

Then this year they sent me this really neat SWORD patch.

I guess I could just iron it on a black jacket or hoodie, but do you guys know of any really cool, Marvel themed clothing, where I might be able to pop this patch on it and have a cool piece of fashion? I know of Destructo Disk Designs, but their choices are very limited and take a long time to have made and shipped, but I would love something like these hoodies. (These two are sold out unfortunately)

Anyway aside from all that, what are some of your favorite bits of Marvel clothing that you own? I used to have a Thor/Dallas Cowboys t-shirt which I wore down until it got holes in it. I also have a SHIELD wallet, with the awesome metal logo in it and everything, but I only use it as a display piece.

I don't actually own any good Marvel clothing. I have a couple t-shirts that I picked up either from Wal-Mart or Teefury.

I've always wanted to wear more Marvel, but I haven't seen anything that really popped out at me. I'd kill for that Morrison era hoodie though.

I've gone through a number of X-Men style T-shirts over the years. I had Multiple Man's shirt from his X-Factor Investigation series. My most recent one was a black t-shirt with Havok's white circle design on it. I am always trying to find a t-shirt with either Dazzler or Northstar's costume design on them.

That Stan Lee balloon graphic is super cute.

Your Havok t-shirt sounds really cool.

I'm not a fan of the officially licensed "comic poster on a T-shirt" look, so I've been trying to keep an eye out for subtler designs. Jay and Miles Teepublic store have a few things (I picked up a "Magneto Made Some Valid Points" Tee) and I'm a big fan of Valentine Smith's work, even though shirts are pretty rare for the pieces she puts out. Connor Goldsmith has some more of her work on his site, but a lot of it is too comic booky for my style.

I'm going to need that Resist shirt and the nigh invulnerable when blasting one.

Redbubble. Just type in “Havok T-shirt” In and you’ll find something. These sites are a bit hit or miss with sizes though.

It's cool that they have variants of Havok's power signature on the shirts in three different sizes.... if you get all three, you could wear them three days in a row with your stored up energy visibly increasing.

As for a Dazzler outfit, this one just needs some rollerskates and facial make-up to complete the look: https://www.amazon.de/Womens-Disco-Dazz ... B07RGMFLYF

And this for a star design, somewhat of a mix between Dazzler & Northstar: https://www.spreadshirt.com/shop/design ... k79z-812-7

I have a t-shirt with Agatha Harkness in the style of “Bewitched” with “it was Agatha all along” underneath it. I have a few other t-shirts too, and if you’re in the UK or Europe, I highly recommend Qwertee as a website that often stocks a lot of references to Marvel properties

This; but in blue, with a smaller logo and it was cheaper from Qwertee— sadly Qwertee doesn’t really have a search function on their mobile site and a lot of their designs are limited editions

I have more Marvel tees that I can count... two of my faves use this and this image from circa Civil War, and an acid-washed Spider-Man Japan shirt which is major kitcsch.

So as a member of Marvel Insider they will occasionally send me pins and such, but I usually just pop them on my backpacks or on my boho maxi dress. I was thinking if I had a really cool Marvel jacket or hoodie I might actually put them on that or I can always buy boho clothing so I can pin them on my women clothes and always look hippie.

Then this year they sent me this really neat SWORD patch.

I love Marvel fashion too! My favorite piece of clothing is a Captain America hoodie that I have. It's navy blue and has the red, white, and blue stripes going down the sleeves. I love how it looks so classic and simple, but also really shows off my love for Marvel. I also have a t-shirt with a Spider-Man comic book cover design on it, which is really cool. It's all in black and white, and it looks really great.
