Most likeable?

It’s weird because I always thought Storm would be almost business like in her interactions until she decided that she liked you. Like, I don’t feel there’s really a “they’re okay” category for her, it’s just “I enjoy this person”, “I do not enjoy this person” and “I don’t know her”

That's why I think a lot of people wouldn't view Storm favorably until they got to that point.

Exactly. I think there’s a distinct difference between “respect and a healthy dash of fear” and “this woman is my friend”, and I feel like Storm LIKES that distinction to be in play

While some arguments named are quite valid to me, I wouldn't agree completely.

Certainly as a European there might be some other aspectcs of interest to me - but there is one name that springs to mind, and as far as I read, no one named him.

That would be - Sam Wilson. I am not aware of his recent appearances/positions in Marvel comics, as I hardly read anything not close to the X-Men/mutants nowadays. But either his earlier appearances or his use in the MCU would make him a very strong candidate for most likeable Superhero - especially liked by other Superheroes.

Sam’s a good choice actually! I think the only reason he didn’t spring to mind for me is that he’s so close to Steve— I know someone else mentioned him earlier (and admittedly I haven’t read much Captain America), but I kind of feel like he’s always “on”. Like, he knows that his superhero identity carries a LOT of symbolism and that he basically represents the ideals of America, and I really think that because of how that carries over in to his civilian identity (again, with what little I’ve read of him), I can imagine that coming across as him never taking a day off. Like, you know that person at work who can’t talk about anything other than work? That. I feel that’s Steve. And I feel like the people closest to him probably get tarred with the same brush.

So weird question that came out of nowhere in my brain:

Who do you think, in universe, is the most likeable super-hero?

Like, I’m talking when all the heroes are meeting up for drinks and whatnot, there’s either not a single other hero who’s like “UGH, THAT PERSON”, or if they are, they’re in an extreme minority.

I kind of feel like it’s Luke Cage. I feel like he has definite “yeah, he’s a solid dude” vibes and generally gets on with everyone. I also feel like this would apply to Nightcrawler, and possibly also Karma but I feel like her power alone might freak some people out.

Also I’m obviously not counting villains in this, they’re likely to be salty about most heroes.

Why do you say Karma?

Not saying that she is an unlikeable character nor anything.

I like her.

But why specifically her?

I know the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and Wolverine all helped her out at one point, but still.........

I honestly just feel like she gives that vibe. I feel like she’s one of those people that just has quite a chill energy and would be really easy to hang out with
