Rise of the Panther is not MCU but it's also seperate from the main MU. It's a retelling of the origin story, similar to Man Without Fear. It's likely to be considered and adopted into main canon though so I wouldn't be against counting it.
Fantasy Draft: Doctor Strange, Hulk, Namor, Venom, Mr. Immortal (off), Professor X, Old Man Logan, Honey Badger, Mary Jane Watson, Thanos, Cosmic Ghost Rider (on).

I don't think shards of Infinity is MCU. I think it's just an alternate universe story.

I think it’s sensible to take things like this case by case and go with the general consensus

Which is why I brought the issue to the group.

Avengers: Shards of Infinity: in the Prime MU or not?

Rise of Black Panther: in the Prime MU or not?

I've only read the latest issue of Rise of Black Panther, which directly references the events of the Panther's first appearance in Fantastic Four #52. (It even includes an editor's note to check that issue out on Marvel Unlimited) don't know if it's contradicting in regards to the established history of Erik Killmonger, who also features, but I'd be inclined to think that it's meant to be in-continuity.

Not sure about Shards of Infinity

After some thinking, I decided to consider Avengers: Shards of Infinity as part of the MCU.

Now Rise of Black Panther seems to be a modern and expanded origin story so common now a days when a character created a few decades ago gets the spotlight. Also the current writer for the main series is serving as a consultant which gives credence to the need of continuity consistency. As such, I will classified it as Prime Marvel Universe.

2. bamf - 135 points
3. ev82 - 115 points
4. Juggernaut - 105 points
4. MrFOOM - 105 points
6. das_boot - 75
7. Wings - 70

Congrats to Blackcyclops for winning our first round.

I'd also like to give two honorable mentions awards:

Most Active Host Award - bamf for having 9 characters of their host appearing in a single week. Only Nadia Pym didn't make an appearance.

Cameo Queen - bamf for having 8 characters cameoing in various titles.

Two things I learned by reading all Marvel releases this week:

Ion Fist has a fucking SISTER!?!?!? And she has existed since the 70's?!?! Had no idea.

Mark Bagley is still working, drawing Venom. Love his art.

Any complains or corrections, let me now.

Ha ha ha I wasn’t being serious at all, don’t worry :) I think this is one of the few times where I won’t let my competitive nature rear its ugly head because I’m just in this for the fun of it.

NEXT SEASON, however... oh it’s on like Donkey Kong.

First, does anyone know who is the glowing bubble woman in the title page of Champions? I want to say Snowbird but I have my doubts.

Second, X-Men Blue is giving me some trouble. Right now I'm leaning on classifying Jimmy and Bloodstorm as main characters and the rest as supporting, although Polaris and Magneto could really go either way. Thoughts? Suggestions?

They all are main characters, definitely. Xavier wasn’t a supporting character in early Uncanny x-Men
I'm Team Remender, Waid, Hickman and Gillen

My X-Men Draft Picks:
Prof. X, Legion, Polaris, Quicksilver, Meggan, Deadpool, Pixie, and Danger

Jimmy and Bloodstorm joined the team proper so I'd call them mains. Mags and Polaris are supporting.

Looks/sounds like Snowbird, but not too sure.

X-Men blue... i’d class the Raksha, Briar and Daken as supporting, the rest I think i’d class as main.

So, with a 2x1 Polaris and Magneto are considered main.

On Spider-Man/Deadpool, I'm not considering the LMD's in the tally.

I'm going to post the scores later today.

I can't figure out the words to describe how I feel about this contest, but I must say the amount of work Cosmo puts into it is impressive and I'm sad I missed out on it.

Thanks! But to be frank, it's not that much work. When I proposed the contest I was a little worried that I would have to sacrifice a lot of time to it, but surprisingly I can do all the work in a couple of hours. I usually tally the scores while reading the titles.
