Necrosha...the undead lists...SPOILERS
Yeah, there could be any number of reasons they didn't go after/find Blink. With millions of mutants on Earth, finding one that you've never looked for before would be like finding a needle in a haystack spread across the planet. They also thought she was dead, and a scant four months later, Age o...

Necrosha...the undead lists...SPOILERS
We don't know what happened to Blink. If she had been killed, don't you think she would have been carved into a million teeny pieces and not have been left behind as a nubile corpse for reanimation purposes? Since Wither, Eliphas, and Mortis are all alive, and Senyaka can self-reanimate, I think B...

The official site doesn't ship to the US, sadly. We have to go through comic stores or eBay.

Classic Marvel and DC Figurine Collection
I've recently started buying them, and only have a few at this point: Gambit, Psylocke, Captain Britain, and Sabretooth. I have Phoenix and Blink on order, and I plan on getting most (if not all) of the X-People eventually. Colossus is a bear to find, though. Just last week, the Madame Viper fig...

What would you do?
That's actually a pretty cool and different idea, Magik. It kinda reminds me of post-AoA X-Factor with all their villains on the team.As far as ChaosX's ideas, though, I'd make Uncanny the main PR team with Cyke, Emma, and the rest and use Astonishing for higher minded cerebral stuff that had a revo...

What would you do?
This whole science team thing is pretty close to my idea for Astonishing. I'd make the tone a little more surreal, though.

Editor X: New Status Quo
To tell you the truth, I'm pretty happy with the way things are going right now. But if I became EIC of the X-Men line, here's what I would do.Uncanny would become the flagship book and keep mostly the same. Astonishing would use a non-flagship cast led by Storm but keeping the same Ellis sci-noir...

Do I have to read Liefeld's New Mutants?
Well, his characters weren't all bad. I'll take Domino and Shatterstar over Bird-Brain and Gosamyr any day.

Do I have to read Liefeld's New Mutants?
Looking back, so much of Liefeld's writing was just him making fun of everyone else writing at the time. In that, he reminds me of Garth Ennis who can't seem to get past 'Haw, aren't superheroes retarded?' and penis jokes. That kind of writing is fine when you're 19, but come on, guys. Grow up. ...

I'd say alot of characters are simply analogues of eachother for different universes. The key here might not be how to integrate everyone, but who to omit.

A few quick ideas: Elijah Snow would be a wonderful White King of the Hellfire Club.Gen 13 would be a great mix with the leftover kids from X-Force/Gen XAnd how about a crossover between the Watchmen and the Ultimates?

Original Characters
Integrating an original character into a team book is difficult. It can be done, but it takes a commitment to make sure the new character is simply part of the team and not a new focus for it.

I can help with that. If you're looking for a title to stand alone like its adult counterparts, you could try The Incredible X-Men, Astounding X-Men, Remarkable X-Men, Phenomenal X-Men, or Sensational X-Men. If you want something that acts like New Mutants or Generation X, you could try Academy X o...

Oh hey, since this came back up. Larry Stroman is ugh. I remember him from old X-Factor and from his horrible, horrible stint on Excalibur. It's like trying to read a comic in a funhouse mirror, only more exaggerated.

Awesome input, Leshia. If he was 22 in '75, then he'd be something like 33.

Either that or specific events simply get pulled up along with Marvel time and it's all squished together a bit.

As far as I know, Franklin's aging as fast as anyone should given the time-lapse of the MU. Don't go by the Calvin & Hobbes books; I'm pretty sure they're not to be taken in continuity. I'd say he's 10-ish.
And then there's the Emma's age thing. I seem to be obsessed about it.. I still think that Emma is around Bobby's age(28). She can't be older than the original 5. She was watching them on tv when she was young.
There are more sources that put her in her 30s than those that ...

That's why I think the ratio 3.5:1 is better. Civil War was in 2006 and the FF were created in 1961. 45/13=3.46Yeah, it's a nitpicky thing, but with so many generations of X-Students running around it gets difficult. And about Kitty, I could've sworn that she was 12 and a half, not 13 and a half wh...
