Re: X-Corp is Here and It’s by Howard!!!!
Lol Fenix if you don't think this is Betsy I can't help you. I mean, this is all exactly how Betsy has always been, it's even specifically reminding me of her time in Australia, she's just not all grimdark like the past 10 years where she's been pretty exclusively on X-Force kill squads. She's alway...

Re: X-Force #17
Agree totally with you medium; most I've enjoyed X-Force, which is an abysmal book in my opinion. I have little love for Quire, except his design and initial use, but it was a good dive into his head here, and fit well with the character's history. That said, I'll never be ok with a Cuckoo dating hi...

Re: X-Corp is Here and It’s by Howard!!!!
I like Howard just fine and think Excal is always a fun read. I find it curious that people want to argue everyone's out of character or whatever there when the only one who's really different than previous appearances is Rictor, who has yet to get a full storyline and has been teased with very real...

Re: WandaVision, season 1.
I don't think this is all Wanda, but I do like that, hating 616 Wanda, this show is getting her right in my eyes. I'm very much enjoying it and Olsen does a fantastic job, and I think this is so accurate because Haywood points out all the many horrible things Wanda has done and all the "Avengers" ty...

Re: X-Factor #7
I think there's some Claremont interviews where he's admitted Rachel was meant to be queer, too. And several of the current writers have stated that they are hinting at that too, and also with Illyana and Kitty. Basically a bunch of Claremont characters that have very close female friendships. He di...

Re: Hellions #9
YES! Especially given Martinique’s history with Arcade AND obviously her father, I’ll be really disappointed if we don’t at least see a cameo of the Mastermind siblings here OMG I forgot about that! Wasn't Martinique's first appearance with Arcade? Mastermind was really interesting here. I have to ...

Re: Excalibur #17
I guess I find it weird that (and medium/nor, I wasn't trying to single you out, just think cast complaints get old fast everywhere on here!) that people don't find there's a lot of Brits in this. Meggan, Brian, and Peter have appeared in all of the run other than a few crossover issues, which Ric/J...

Re: Heroes Reborn: Magneto and the Mutant Force
Everyone online is hating on this run and X-fans especially because they feel it borrows a lot from X-Men mythos because Avengers is so bare (not agreeing just what I'm seeing).
That said, with Rogue, Frenzy, and Emma being in this, I may just pick it up.

Re: Excalibur #17
Guys, we're 17 issues in, can we stop complaining about the cast every single issue? It's not changing any time soon and every Excal thread has at least 4 posts about how the book should have more British mutants. I wouldn't mind seeing one added to the team, but one of the best things so far about ...

Re: Wolverine #9
OOO Yukio and Amiko would be great additions to this book. I've never bought a Wolvie solo until now and I actually enjoy it. I'm glad we went to Kubert for pencils because there's something about his work that just really fits for Logan with me. It's very clean and angular, and I think it meshes ni...

Re: Hellions #9
Y’know, I spent this issue wondering whether Sage was being really sarcastic with her note to the council but now I really think she was more under Mastermind’s illusion. Y’all also know I am DOWN TO CLOWN with the villain revealed on the last couple of pages. Really like Orphan Maker going full te...

Re: Cable #7
Found this issue pretty meh. I'm not nearly as much of a fan as the art as das_boot is - some of its good (especially the faces) but a lot of the far-away stuff is pretty rough and sloppy at times. Like the panel of everyone standing on the beach*, or some of the panels in the first part of the act...

Re: Fan Vote on a Member of the New X-Men Team
If you REALLY want to vote more than once, it's easy to do on different devices. I've now voted for Banshee, Marrow twice, and Tempo. I do hope some of the younger gen is on this team. I wouldn't be surprised if Sunspot and Husk end up on the team, regardless of this voting. In the shadowed image, I...

Re: Fan Vote on a Member of the New X-Men Team
Marrow for my vote, but Tempo, Banshee, and Guido are all great choices too. I just want Marrow to really get a real shine since I think a lot of people hate on her because they feel like her powers are lame or because she's an "ugly" mutant unlike the majority of the X-Men. I don't have any feeling...

Re: Marvel April solicitations
@magnus I assume that's sarcasm, but for others, they are on their monthly break like the other titles the month before. Annoying side effect of the pandemic, but I think the X-titles are doing just fine in sales.

Re: Way of X
Pixie is in a title again! Loa and Dj are fun choices, but I'm really wanting Anole so bad in a title.
This has such an interesting premise. I'm very excited for it. And with Spurrier's love of D listers, the guest stars will be a delight.

Re: Wonder Woman 1984
There are a lot of baffling choices in this movie and the scarcity of 80s music if definitely one of them. Even if they somehow failed to consider it, one would think that after the "Blue Monday" trailer had such a positive reaction they would made the decision to incorporate it somewhere. In fact,...

Re: X-Men #17
Another example that I'll try to find for you guys - a female comic reviewer reviewed a Teen Titans cover (art) poorly, and in the review, she mentioned that the main focal point of the cover was a 16 year old Wonder Girl who's positioned sexually and has anime-gag sized breasts. A bunch of comicsga...

Re: Wonder Woman 1984
This might be the first movie set in the 80s to NOT use any 80s music. Like did WB blow all their money on mustache gel for Pascal? I would love for somebody to re-cut this movie but insert in all 80s music. I might actually enjoy the movie more if someone did this. Like that whole car chase? How d...

Re: Wonder Woman 1984
I loved the first 2/3 of it because it was all cheesy 80's plot which worked for me, especially since I'm currently doing an 80's film marathon. However, I was supremely disappointed by the film as a whole. It had too many plot holes and bad dialogue, and wasted Kristin Wiig entirely. A little embar...

Re: Excalibur #16
I really liked this. It's nice to see Rogue being assertive. I need Howard to get to the point with Ric though because he's being so weird and I need to have a bit more with him because right now he's annoying the crap out of me (kind of like how he annoyed me in early David X-Factor). Lovely to see...

Re: X-Men #17
I know we're supposed to take it with a grain of salt, but all the reporting I see about this is that Hickman REALLY wanted him for some reason, and that doesn't sit right with me knowing what I know now. The misogyny is one thing (and a very bad thing), but the anti-Muslim and anti-Semitic comments...

Re: X-Men #17
Right, BC, I just assumed it was going to be pages that tied into the current run and then flashbacks. But I checked and it's indeed X-Men 17. A lot of people are boycotting the issues he's drawing, apparently, some because they hate the 90's style and many because Booth has been very rudely outspok...

Re: Wonder Woman 1984
@Crutey - it will likely release on digital within 3-4 months, which is pretty typical. That's what happened for all the direct to digital and theatrical releases this year so far (and usually, if it has a theatrical release, the digital is available for rent or purchase within 6 months anyways). Al...
