Re: eXtermination #1

I don’t see Hope coming back in a big way anytime soon. I’m glad to see the duplicate characters being removed from the X-Men. Bloodstorm was a pointless addition as was Jimmy Hudson.

They were definitely mind-wiped again. They went back to the same restaurant that they initially went to and Beast doesn't recall being there again but the staff their recognise him.

Re: Astonishing X-Men Annual 001 (2018)

I'd love X to gather a team of X-Men together and go off the grid, basically being the slightly less lethal X-Force from a few years back. X, Emma Frost, Forge, Monet, Magik and Archangel. A team that knows hard decisions need to be made but will try and save people before it coming to killing. I do...

Re: Spotlight update on.. Professor X

For those interested, we obviously have a lot of new content but also make sure to go back through his existing bio as there's new stuff in there too. Since we last updated him the X-office really lent on the "sins of the past" aspect of Xavier.

Re: Astonishing X-Men Annual 001 (2018)

I liked this. It didn't have a lot of superheroics in but it was more about the newly resurrected Xavier touching base with his former students. Xavier is certainly different from before, a lot darker. His use of mindwipes reminds me of his fondness for it during the 60's.

Re: Uncanny X-Men Disassembled

It’s not as if many of the artists drew her Japanese anyway. As long as it moves the character forward in sone way. She’s had brief moments back in her old body but it would be good to explore a longer stint and the effects it has on her.

Re: Uncanny X-Men Disassembled

I’d take certain appearances on the cover with a pinch of salt. Some are obviously appearing in titles right now but others like Firestar just seem like filler.

Re: Uncanny X-Men Disassembled

Yeah yeah, status quo shift blah blah.....what’s going on with Psylocke in that picture. Either the artist is seriously toning down her ethnicity or we are looking at pre-body switch Psylocke.

Re: Adamantium Agenda #4

If that’s the case I’d imagine it’s someone relatively new(ish) and currently relevant. So Pyro II, Trinary, Gentle and any number of students could be the sleeper agent. If they start saying someone like Nightcrawler, Cannonball or Magik then I calls BS.

Re: Spotlight On...ARMOR!

Glad you like it. I like Armor as I think she has a great power, I just wish writers would utilise her more, I feel that many of the x-students rarely get good character development anymore when they are slotted onto the main teams. FYI I just want to point out that finding an image for the stat pag...

Spotlight On...ARMOR!

Hisako Ichiki had always set her sights on becoming one of the X-Men but her wish came true a lot sooner than she expected she she was caught up in one of the X-Men's many adventures. After proving herself on Breakworld, she was put under the tutelage of Wolverine, who saw the great potential she po...

Re: BATTLE OF THE ATOM

Nice spot. This was a tricky one to given how many duplicate versions of characters there were from different time periods and we didn't know who the real X-Men were at one point. As a way of marking the X-Men's 50th year this wasn't the best crossover, but at least it had the trademark essence of c...

BATTLE OF THE ATOM

When the Original 5 X-Men were brought from the past to the present it seemed they would only be around a short-while, but six years later and they're still here. With Marvel's Extermination event coming it seems their time may finally be up. Let us not forget though that this isn't the first time s...

It finally comes out in the UK this week, the internet has pretty much spoiled the big plot points for me already but I'm still psyched for this.

Charlotte Jones was one of those like Stevie Hunter, Lee Forrester and Candy Southern who was really popular supporting character for a few years. Then they all just vanished in favour of the next character.

Re: The X-Men Come Home to Marvel

I reckon phase 4 will see the Fastastic Four at some point, obviously not before 2021 but I believe they will enter the MCU in some capacity. The X-Men though are a different machine. Their movies have been successfully (commercially) and continue to be. Shifting them to the MCU will be problematic ...

Re: Mr. & Mrs. X #1

Yeah it’s pretty much confirmed Vulcan is the daddy. Deathbird appeared in X-Men 4th series where we learnt she was pregnant and they deduced the history there. Last we saw her she was in Spider-Man and the X-Men I believe. She hasn’t been seen since the universe was recreated after Secret Wars.

Re: X-23 #2

Loved this. I never really thought about the clone link between Laura and the Cuckoos. Gabby’s inclusion here is great and it has a very strong plot tie-in. I like how the Cuckoos aren’t being “evil”, they want their sister to live and they know that getting that result may paint them as villains. L...

Re: Iron Fist Season 2

Luke Cage and Iron Fist were major low points for me with the Netflix series. I struggled to get through both. Whilst including Typhoid is a good start for IF I think that many of the issues the series' have are with pacing. I'll have to wait and see what everyone says before I waste another 13 hours.
