Who do you think is the most powerful Mutant ?
I think Jean Grey or rather Dark Phoenix is/was the most powerful mutant. I don't see what could be more dangerous than that even if at times the intensity of the force is oscillating.

what's after second coming?
I would like to see a division in the X-Men and my guess is that something like that will happen after Hope is coming back. Even if she is not Jean, she could spark some issues in the team and get many to think differently and maybe start their own teams altogether. But a Civil War is not something ...

What is a Strong Female Character?
I also believe that villains can be strong characters. Strength does not necessarily mean having a moral core and a lot of scruples. It depends on what each one considers to be a defining trait that makes a female character worth remembering.

What is a Strong Female Character?
I also think that being independent is one of the traits that make a strong female character. But this is very difficult to achieve especially when you try to define being "strong" as a woman. You see, I like reading about female characters that are both independent, tough when neccessary, who but a...

Best New Marvel Characters of the Decade
My favourite by far is Abigail Brand, then maybe Pixie, Cassandra Nova, Hellion, Armor, Cuckoos and Fantomex.

The UXN Book Club - Narnia
I vote for Lord of the Rings, but it is a long read indeed!

Anyone interested in talking about Tolkien and his works? From my point of view his works are better than The Narnia Chronicles, at least when mythology is concerned.

Russian literature is absolutely superb! Just think about Tolstoi, Dostoievski, Cehov and not to mention Puskin! These authors have such a depth and psychological richness in their novels and plays, it really places them at the very top of world literary masters!

I am thinking about starting 1984 very soon. Would anyone suggest otherwise?
I'd definitely suggest that you try it. It's not really a fun read, but it is thought-provoking.
Yeah, that is indeed a good book! You could also try Animal Farm, it...
I'm being forced to read Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway for my lit. class right now. Maybe it's just because I'm reading it for school, but for some reason I'm finding this novel both interminably long and mind-numbingly dull. I look forward to reading for pleasure again.
Yes, Mrs....

Charles Xavier Deserves More Respect
I also would like to see Charles question Scott about his decisions and still give him advice, although even the professor made mistakes and forgot about morals in many situations. But now unfortunately I think his role in the series is just symbolic, like the old leader who won't give up his title.

I am currently reading Zadie Smith's White Teeth. Very good book, fuuny and witty, I truly recommend it.
CS Lewis is one of my favourites too, especially the Narnia Chronicles.
But the best remains Tolkien! LOTR trilogy is absolutely a classic must-read for everyone who enjoys reading fantasy.
