Last issue and this issue have cemented Genesis as my favorite Marvel villain of the 2020s. Her philosophy is bad for everyone except herself, she knows that, and she doesn't care.

We've had 42 issues of the downfall of Beast, more than that if you count Wolverine as well, I'd like to see both that storyline and the Colossus/Chronicler one finally get some resolution. Yes, Claremont had long burns, but they weren't front and center like this as they were burning.

I hesitated to make a thread since there was very little that happened in this issue besides recapping Judgement Day 6. Basically Gillen has set the Eternals up to hopefully be used more than they have been in the past.

I understood far less than I thought I would. Is the revelation of the Eternals’ purpose from the Gillen run or do I need to read farther back?
