Not too long ago, Marvel was using "Omega level Telepath" without being an Omega Level Mutant. How does that shake out with this new information?

I remember an X-Men Story Arc from the '90's where they mentioned 12 Mutants of Incredible power that would change the world. Besides Jean, Storm and Magneto, Polaris, Professor X and Cyclops were included.

I wonder if this was a pre-cursor to Omega mutant status?

Wasn't Brand and/or Rixxon involved with the Squadron Supreme in Avengers 147-149 and later when Scarlet Wich investigated and got shot around Avengers 152-153? The Serpent Crown was involved in both stories.

Can we not toss around terms like "fridged", at least until we've actually seen the film?

I've heard Nebula's role in the film is an important one, which is surprusing given the minimal amount she's appeared in the trailers. Perhaps its her that dies?

In the past, it has been shown that Simon has above-human reflexes and superhuman running speed catching up to a speeding express train. And even more rare, Simon could see in low-light or darkness.

Does Simon still have those abilities? Does Rogue have them?

Isn't Penance a good example of someone with enhanced durability (diamond hard skin) and yet no superstrength? At least I don't remember any issue that showed her being stronger than any normal person. As for the Wolverine/Namor comparison, this obviously enters the realm of fuzzy superhero science...

When they are done testing and this game gets released commercially, will there be a physical disc to buy for both systems or is the content only downloadable?

Even later, when the X-Men arrived on Muir Island to fight Proteus, Colossus mentions he has withstood those powers before, and Havok...
