Re: New Mutants #14
I’m pretty sure that Martha was also referenced at one point (I believe the in famous “sex” issue of New X-Men) that she had bioluminescent blood, which implies a degree of physical mutation as well as her telepathy— it could simply be that she doesn’t want her body back due to some other physical ...

Re: New Mutants #14
When did Evan die/Genesis die and how? Why have they not restored Martha's body is this beyond them? think she would want this? Why is Warlock on Krakoa he is not a mutant. The beginning part with the ShadowKing left me incredibly confused? I thought Amahl and the Shadowking where one in the same? ...

Best debut issue of the entire Hickman era and honestly, it's not even close.
Loved everything about it. As far as Magneto being off, this is probably the best mood Erik has ever been in so I totally buy it.

They've added some additional products in the collection. It's very tempting. Anyone order it?

Re: X-MEN LEGENDS IN 2021
It's in-continuity. It's going to be a series where classic X-writers return to their original runs for untold stories tie up loose ends, resolve plot danglers, etc. Claremont, Simonson, Peter David, will be on future issues. https://www.gamesradar.com/classic-x-men-writers-tell-new-in-continuity-st...

Re: Marauders #13
I just love how Duggan time and again gets underestimated for how well he actually can write a relatability into a character. People get caught up in his absurdity because Duggan (more than alot of other writers) feels like he enjoys writing comics aka he embraces the weird and frankly silly things...

Re: Juggernaut #1
I liked it. D-Cel seems cool, great art, and I'm interested in Juggernaut getting a new direction. Hopefully one that sticks.
I will agree that this felt like an issue of an ongoing rather than the first issue of a mini.

I made a thread for it but put it in Honorable Mentions for some reason.

I don't think those last few pages are referencing a specific story that we've seen.

Re: Excalibur #12
I guess he needed Rictor because his connection the druids and magic mumbo jumbo. I stil feel like this book could be a bit more coherent. When this arc started, Betsy said she was going to the Citadel to talk to Saturyne about why the Citadel was closed off from her. Then it suddenly became this mi...

Marvels Snapshots: X-Men #1
This is the one-shot that was written by Jay Edidin of Jay and Miles X-Plain the X-Men and it was absolutely fantastic.
Tom Reilly's art is beautiful and Jay writes a really heartwarming story about young Scott. Loved everything about this, what did you guys think?

Great issue. Loving what Percy is doing so far.
But that was Gorgon’s mom??? I don’t know much about the character but that seemed completely random.

Re: Excalibur #11
Agree with most of you. I like everything about this series except the lineup. The dynamic is just plain off. Jubilee and Gambit have been so one-note the entire series, cranky and complaining. Still not sure why they're sticking around. Rogue and Betsy just sound a bit generic. I do like the Rictor...

This was a breezy read but I was very entertained. Deadpool actually had some funny lines. Also, I love seeing the Cuckoos getting some spotlight outside of being used as a cerebro hogs.

Re: Spider Woman # 3
Love Jessica Drew and while this book has felt a little decompressed, I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Pacheco is good at humor and I'm happy that she seems to be embracing Jessica's convoluted origins instead of shying away from them.
