Haha thanks. If anyone finds some other good Marvel or X related scenes that need Bernie I'm happy to do the photoshopping.Spectral Knight wrote: ↑Today, 12:42Very good!![]()
My favourite Marvel related version of the meme so far is this.

I agree Legends and Stargirl are much better than Flash and Arrow.
Doom Patrol is pretty good, Titans was pretty good too. Neither of them are WandaVision quality though.

Gotcha, I guess I never watched a show that actually used it until Arrow. And then I started noticing it a lot on "lower brow" shows.

Re: Re: Random Thoughts
I liked Arrow too, but after awhile I saw through it's gimmick, and then I noticed it's one that gets used a lot, not only on Berlanti's other CW DC shows, but on a lot of modern shows all over tv right now. 1) Introduce a bunch of characters who ostensibly should like each other or want to work tog...

I think Cable's is kind of obvious too.... also Magik86's. We are close to the end and since you guessed it I will reveal my story. My team is being sent to do some gritty detective work on the mean streets of Detroit. There have been a number of car thefts in the area and after questioning the loc...

Re: Most Prolific/Impactful 21st Century Marvel Writer
Yes, and Civil War (more Millar greatness) was the basis for Macy's Civil War. I really just meant the origins, the Phase 1 stuff. Also the series Strange by BKV, while not officially Ultimate is often called the Ultimate origin of Dr. Strange and it seems to have heavily influence the Dr. Strange m...

Re: Most Prolific/Impactful 21st Century Marvel Writer
Does Anna work for Marvel? Lol because they just posted a super cut of MU moments that inspired the MCU https://www.cbr.com/marvel-supercut-comics-mcu-inspiration/ It would have helped my point if they'd had done a version for Phase 1 haha. I'd still have to disagree - huge amounts of Phase One wer...

Re: Most Prolific/Impactful 21st Century Marvel Writer
I think it’s impossible to say that Phase 1 wasn’t way more Ultimates than 616...but as they progressed to Phase 3, a shift occurred. Right, well they pretty much exhausted all the usable Ultimate stuff up front. Ultimates (aside from Spider-Man) was best for exploring and creating new and updated ...

Re: Most Prolific/Impactful 21st Century Marvel Writer
I didn't say it was the only inspiration. I can see some stuff pulled from 616 as well as obviously from their own imaginations. I think Iron Man's look and powers are mostly taken from Extremis for example. But there's still a LOT pulled from Ultimates. Anyway let me bring up quite a few more count...

Well I know Esme was the one who died because she was an over-the-top a follower of Xorneto. And Sophie died from using Kick right? I want to say Mindee is the most individualistic one, she tries to be nice and less sassy than her sisters and sometimes gets slapped down for doing so. I also think sh...

Yeh Morrison or Whedon I would say, then Carey, then I dunno Aaron or Bendis, depending on your preference.
Also Mark Waid has to figure in there somewhere I feel like. (Not with the X-Men, just in Marvel).

At least until that Ultimate event where they wiped out half the characters. Blob eating Wasp was just something I never needed to have printed. Oh and heavily implying Wanda and Pietro were incestuous. Lets never work THAT part of Ultimates into any movies or games. That was Loeb, not Millar thoug...

The Ultimate line in general. Ultimates is really the basis for MCU's Avengers. There was a time Mark Millar was just as huge as Bendis.Blackcyclops wrote: ↑19 Jan 2021, 19:07It’s also wild to think how much of everything outside comics has been impacted by Ultimate Spider-man in terms of cartoons and films.

Really it was Disassembled that set it all up wasn't it? House of M was a direct result of its fallout.

Here's what I'm seeing. You might debate if X-Men Legacy is a core title. You DEFINTELY could debate Remender's inclusion, but I thought he was worthy based on his influence on certain key characters in the X-Universe. Claremont - X-Treme X-Men, Uncanny X-Men 2000-2006: 7 years Carey - X-Men, X-Men ...

Out of interest, who had the longest run on the main X-books since 2000? Obviously, Peter David's spell on MadroX/X-Factor/All-New X-Factor, which lasted about 10 years all-in, but that was on a side title, rather than a flagship... Re: WandaVision, season 1.
Interestingly, Hickman, who I think is known for his Sci-Fi stories in FF and Avengers, has taken the X-Men mostly into the realm of high fantasy. X of Swords certainly felt that way, and Krakoa has kind of an Earthsea quality to me. Excalibur is most DEFINITELY fantasy, which is why it's my favorit...
