I think the final article on UXN will be the big reveal that Monolith is actually the super computer Deep Thought from Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.

been reading during my lunch break at works some X-Files novels I got many moons ago that I haven't read in so long I forget basically all of the story. Except the nuclear bomb ghosts. That one is my favorite so far.

Re: X-Men Arcade Cabinets
Yeah we sell these at Wal-Mart. They are nice for collectors and due to the short height the same company sells "extenders" to raise the height to average adult. Given you assemble them yourselves I haven't invested in one yet. Feels overpriced, maybe if you could custom pick your four or five games...

Re: Justice League Movie finishing by Joss Whedon
Recently re-watched the movie. It is not a BAD movie but it being rushed out ahead of some more solo films for the characters and having to directly follow Dawn of Justice (which is a worse movie just looking at the DCEU) and some of it's mistakes hurt the overall movie as the first Act was basicall...

Exactly. Who else pisses off Jean like this? Sabes created a situation where JEAN GREY of all X-Men was going sadist on him. Sinking to his level. Epic Moment.

Re: A Look Back: X-Men (vol2) #1-54 and UXM #281-334
Oh I agree the special has a different tone to it than the main books that set it up and the special didn't really seem concerned with the major ongoing stories also building in the books at the time. But I feel like they do tell a good narrative together.

Re: A Look Back: X-Men (vol2) #1-54 and UXM #281-334
See I think we are miscommunicating. I know what editorial was planning. What I have been trying to say is that if you tweak that last little bit with Val the special could have easily been a "Killing off Sabes" story and would have been a great end to the character and his story. That up until Val ...

I remember the Rulk Thunderbolts but by then he was shaving and was back to his more classic looking gear. Just the beard looked really weird. Nice to see Cole-Alves resurfaced again.

Punisher Continuity
So I'm reading Avenging Spider-Man and they have the "Omega Effect" crossover with Daredevil and Punisher. I have questions though about what Frank had been up to during this Volume. Specifically why is he got the lumberjack beard and wearing a smeared cheap DIY version of his skull-logo top? Also w...

I loved this ending of the "Sabes in the Mansion" era. Xavier having to admit he can't do this. He can't rehabilitate Creed was such a moment of pride-swallowing that it feeds well into what came after with Onslaught and seeing Creed basically take a "go out in a blaze of glory" attitude really bro...

I just re-read the Phalanx Covenant and 312-313 was in there as part of the "foreshadowing". Why did we never get more of Yukio, Storm, and Gambit as a team? The personalities shone well here and I love Gambit charging the huge anchor.

This is Villain Magneto at his purist. So dead-set on protecting the species "His people" that he would do anything, no matter what the body count, without a second thought. Yes Mags did a few big event things after this, but to me Fatal Attractions was the final grand stand of Villain Magneto. You ...

#298-299 So in the first we get the return of the Acolytes, the return of Sharon and Tom and more angsty Xavier (it’s interesting how X-Cutioner’s Song has led to Xavier being alil more solemn and more withdrawn). Yep. Really helps contextualize his decisions in Fatal Attractions when you see this ...

Re: Jean Grey's red hair
The practical answer is that in the Silver Age, the inks that were used in the printing process were restricted to Cyan (a shade of blue), Magenta (a shade of red), and Yellow (ie CMYK), and easy mixtures of these colors. For example it's easy to mix yellow and cyan and get green. It is relatively ...

Re: Character status post-Endgame
Maybe Steve ended up being Peggy’s second husband, after the kids were grown up and moved out. Nothing says he went back to be with her in the 1940’s. In fact, age-wise that makes the most sense. He had to return one of the stones to 1970. He saw Peggy there. Assuming she was born in 1920, she woul...

294... So Peterson’s art is the best on the book so far...again not saying much. I never read this issue before lol...somehow, the guy that LOVES X-Cutioner’s Song never read the first chapter. But I gotta say I can feel Lobdell shaking some of those beginning issues off...like the scene with Bisho...
