Re: Disney Streaming New Marvel Shows

It’s true (across all Netflix genre of shows) but at the same time its weird I find that an issue when I grew up loving network series that have twice as many episodes The trick is to find that balance between pushing the ongoing big arc story of the season and having the downtime character develop...

Re: Disney Streaming New Marvel Shows

The biggest weakness of the writing in even the best Netflix shows has been bloat. If Disney can really stick to 5-6 episodes for a season, with high production values, I suspect they’ll pull it off. It’s true (across all Netflix genre of shows) but at the same time its weird I find that an issue w...

That is scary how legit those solicits sound. I'd buy them in a heart beat.
Thank You. I figure since I got no fake cover making skills I'd give it all on the solicits. Min/Maxing at its finest.

Re: Random Thoughts

Here in the Southern U.S. the tradition is any family households in the same city get together for a big Sunday dinner where you'll have a meat of some kind, not always a roast sometimes it's fried with side dishes of various kinds. Especially if you "good church-going folk". That post-church extend...

Re: X-Men Draft: Editorial Edition

Assuming my books will be lucky to make it a year I figured I'd just pop off two six-issue arc solicitations for each book. NYX: Street Smarts Roster: Multiple Man, Layla Miller, Kiden, Inferno, Stacy-X, Persuasion, Yukio Kiden Nixon's greatest fear has come true: She's all alone. What happened to h...

Re: X-Men Draft: Editorial Edition

This last wait between picks for me has been brutal. Lost like three potential picks. To finish off my second book welcome a true wild card, a young lady who never takes to being leashed. Re: Random Thoughts

honestly outside of the Wooo and the "wheeling, dealing" line in it's full I wouldn't imitate much of Flair. Even he's admitted he partied so hard so many years by all rights he should have been dead ages ago.

Re: X-Men Draft: Editorial Edition

Technically Betsy built herself a new caucasian body that resembles her own so Revance can still have the original body. But I admit I'm ignoring a little continuity myself.

Also whose pick is it?

Looks like I'll be in NC myself for a flying visit for work in a couple of weeks... Charlotte to be specific. I'm practicing my Ric Flair "wooooo" in anticipation. Hope there's not too much damage, Nu-D Long as it's not high-pitched and awkward like his daughter's WOOO. Makes me cringe every time s...

bad link in character glossary

So while poking around I tried to click on the page for "Scorpion" on UncannyXmen.net and it gave me a 403 Forbidden error instead of redirecting to his page on MightyAvengers.net

Re: The Exterminated

Jean’s died three times (DPS, Morrison and Endsong)...well 2 times technically it was Jean. Jean’s dying thing has always been overexaggerated, kinda like Hank Pym being abusive. Jean also died during the Sentinel attack that killed off the Hellions in Uncanny 281... I think that's the right issue....

Re: The Exterminated

Cable, Cyclops, and Wolverine are three of my top 5 fave X-Men of all time and they have all been killed off in the past five years. But I am not going to be one of those fans that cries about not getting to see my childhood heroes every month. The beauty of an ongoing shared universe with differen...

So I been re-reading the Titans lately (pre-new 52) and god what they did to Roy was so... ugh. Like I just can't read Cry For Justice and Rise of Arsenal. Such dark dreary stories. Re: Random Thoughts

For those that live in the UK, I have never been but am planning a trip to London in early-to-mid February. What kind of weather can I expect then? Would it be snowing? I’m hardly an expert, but since nobody else is chiming in, I’d suggest you prepare for miserable cold and wet. It might be snow, b...

Re: X-Men Draft: Editorial Edition

I been bouncing between my books. Grabbing whoever I was afraid might go soon and tweaking the roster as some got snagged. For this round though, I think the sales of [REDACTED] Vol. 2 and the All New, All Different [REDACTED] will be fine once the fans hear some Persuasion https://vignette.wikia.no...

Re: Random Thoughts

There is something scary and liberating about being on your own. Like I have no roommate in my new place. It's Just Me (and kitty) so there's no "my living room time" or "hey can you go somewhere while I have a romantic partner over"... I just can't disturb the neighbors. Freedom.
