Re: X-FACTOR by Leah Williams and David Baldéon

Northstar's outfit looks awesome. Probably one of the best looks for him. Don't know much about Eye-Boy, but his costume to me is very Gen X, around the Revolutions / Counter X period, I kinda like, it even if it is probably a little dated, it feels like it could be worn in cities across the world. ...

Re: X-Men Editorial Draft 2.0

I'm nowhere near done with either roster - definitely splitting my picks for this draft. Happy with all who are currently on my casts, but I've missed so many who I would've loved to nab. I also now have ZERO idea of who I'm going to use my loan pick on, giving those who've gone.

I hope she won't be going by that costume either.
Don't worry, she won't be. Not yet sure what she'll be wearing, but it won't be that. Nor her Prestige outfit either.

Re: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

Some of the infinity challenges are an utter nightmare. Still haven't finished the main quest (just arrived in Hel), but hitting some of the Infinity challenges to try and get the alternate colours. Current mains are Spidey, Wolverine, Captain America and Captain Marvel.

Re: X-Men Editorial Draft 2.0

2 more rounds till we have to reveal genres, wondering would it be better to reveal after round 7? Might have more solid idea by then! I'm on for as late a reveal as Cable will let us so that any overlaps don't become a no-holds barred death-fight for drafts, so I don't mind the secrecy continuing ...

Re: X-Men Editorial Draft 2.0

One of my themes is relatively easy, with at least four characters on the board who would fit in without any thought at all. My other theme is now a complete nightmare... I've got a few characters in mind that would go in, but even those who I've already picked won't be on my team under the identiti...

Re: X-Men Editorial Draft 2.0

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong no complaints at all on the options list. Tonnes to choose from, and there were quite a few that could have been fun to work with. It's just funny (as well as incredibly frustrating for my master draft plan!) how another poster has just hit every spot with a "bugger, I co...

Re: X-Men Editorial Draft 2.0

(And fortunately they didn't disrupt any of my plans. If everyone sticks to stealing the characters Spectral wants instead of going after mine, then I'll enjoy this Draft very much.) You jest (I hope?!), but there is one poster whose picks so far pretty much would nail the theme I'm now s...

Re: X-Men Editorial Draft 2.0

I don't f'n believe it. I'm so gonna be on the dregs by round 5. Ridiculous. My first theme has been pretty much decimated this round.

And I was planning on using my loan pick on the other theme to get someone specific....this has gone horribly, horribly wrong.

Okay … Folklore seems to have a theme going on with his characters, making it easy to predict some of his future picks.

I don't know about anyone else, but my next picks are all lined up: Lilandra, Kid Gladiator, Lifeguard and Vulcan.

I love how Anna's just picked up three of the most prominent X-Men, and I'm sitting here fuming over the one of the least-longest and most disregarded members of the X-Men ever!

Re: X-Men Editorial Draft 2.0

I thought that’s called PoC? Oh, that’s America. And BAME is the British word? There's quite a few different terms that exist, none of which are really perfect, but BAME tends to have approval as a term in most political reporting from serious channels (e.g. BBC). Though People of colour would gene...

Two? I count at least three, maybe four. Storm, Reyes, Angel Salvadore (think she's old enough now to be considered an adult, especially as she's been playing mum for years now) and M. I know there's been a little debate over a couple of these character's ethnicities, but certainly they should at le...

Re: Random Thoughts

I'm surprised so few people have gone for Emma Frost, she was a big part of WatXM, from what I've read also of the anime, in First Class in a fairly prominent role, and has been a massive part of what I term the flagship X-books for 2 decades now. Emma has probably been the single biggest female X-M...

The reason I went for Psylocke as because she was in X-Men Apocalypse, cameo'd in TAS, and been in tonnes of games. Do I think most people even know she's British, and her real name is Betsy. Re: Random Thoughts

Hated Nightcrawler in the films...! All those tattoos/scars etc. What's wrong with velvet fur? Always made him looks far harsher than he looks in the comics, I though. Out of interest who else was on the list? If I was forming a non "core" TAS team but still trying to be A-List candidates, it would ...
