Re: Re: Random Thoughts

Steven Universe and Dragon Prince I can fully recommend! I am currently catching up on Gravity Falls, Samurai Jack and the new Ducktales @BC - Seige of Cybertron is a film, so its not as nig a commitment as a series. You could bang it out in an a couple hours. Also Adventure Time is awesome, I just...

Re: Re: Random Thoughts

Speaking of Transformers has anyone watched the War for Cybertron film that's just dropped on Netflix? I haven't yet but it looks pretty faithful to the G1 series. I am incredibly behind on cartoons...I legit feel like I’m failing that contingent of nerddom. The last cartoon I watched through was A...

Chronoskimmer sounds nifty but it'd require Rachel to actually use her chronoskimming power.
She mostly just uses it for cleaning the pool these days

Re: Re: Random Thoughts

I feel part of the issue with AOU is there was a lot of build up and excitement for the first film as the first film to bring them together and the Infinity Stone pay off was held off for the third film, so AOU had to stand on its own. Beyond a little bit of Hydra stuff at the end of Winter Soldier ...

Re: Re: Random Thoughts

I love how quickly we moved on from Aeon's ravings of a charismatic madman to talking about condiments. I enjoy a good mustard, wasabi or horseradish, but I much prefer a good chilli sauce. I have a bush covered in really hot birdseye chilli's and I want to find a recipe for some sort of chilli reli...

Yeah just stop bleeping out swear words...I don’t get it at this point. Doesn't the forum have a no swearing policy though? I was talking about the comic lol LOL it was a couple posts down from Aeon's self sensored post so I figured you were referring to that. I was confused.. Comics have been blan...

Re: Marvelous Comics Draft - done

I was this close to picking a Ghost Rider for Mojo: Impossible but opted for Werewolf-By-Night instead as he lended himself more to pure horror.

Though I did enjoy the idea of a Spirit of Vengeance possessed Mojo, complete with demon robot spider legs

Re: Marvelous Comics Draft - Round 12 finish line

Yes indeed, Gibbering was one of three players who took that option.(The others were BC and booty) Overall the duo of your own choosing was in the mix four times, but only three were taken. I realized early on what Gibbering was doing with this cast (well I had the extra knowedge which books he pic...

Re: X-Men: the Legacy of Mike Carey

Love Carey! He's one of my favourite X-men writers, and he mentioned a few times he used UXN for research, which is awesome. I loved how he seemlessly laid hints for what was coming and how he happily dusted off forgotten character's and storylines. When many X-writers like to use the "classic" X-Me...
